Cambodia – Khmer Anti-Poverty Party (KAPP) has issued a notification dated 6 August, announcing to hold a non-violent demonstration on August 11 to protest against the results of the July 28 general election, which it claimed abounded with many irregularities, and to demand reelection.
In the notification, the KAPP said the demonstration would be attended by 600 people coming from the provinces of Kandal, Kampong Cham, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Banteay Meanchey, Takeo and Phnom Penh capital.

The KAPP has applied for permission to hold the protest from the Phnom Penh Municipal authorities, but has yet received official approval.
