Cambodian King Calls for Calm In Post-Election Period
Cambodia: HM Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has issued
a message, appealing to all of his people to maintain clam and national dignity,
and to continue their daily lives peacefully in the post-election period.
In
the message dated 7 August 2013, the King also called on the two political
parties, [the ruling Cambodian People’s Party and the opposition Cambodia
National Rescue Party,] that have won seats in the National Assembly in the
recent general election to continue their discussion to seek for solution to
disputes or remaining problems by peaceful means “ for the great sake of our
country and people and for peace and national stability.”
