(CPP) released a statement, expressing its support to the election results.
“The election of the National
Assembly Members for the fifth Legislature held on July 28, 2013 proceeded

Constitution of the Kingdom of
Cambodia and the principle of democracy,” the CPP said in its statement dated

participating in observing the election.
The CPP concluded its statement by
calling the political parties that have won seats in the National Assembly to
put the interests of the nation and people above all else and work together
based upon the Constitution, laws, democracy, and the spirit of national unity
in order to “assure the National Assembly in the fifth legislature will be able
to begin its work well in accordance with the Constitution and the people’s
wish.”
