Constitutional Council Rejects Opposition’s Appeals
Cambodia (Kohker) – The Constitutional Council of the Kingdom of Cambodia in its hearing on the
morning of August 20 rejected two of the appeals lodged by the opposition
Cambodia National Rescue Party (CNRP) against the decisions by the National
Election Committee.
The
Constitutional Council received 33 complaints against the results of the July
28 general election. It has resolved 14 of them so far.
