King Sihamoni Appoints 21 Advisors and 34 Assistants To PM Hun Sen
Cambodia (Kohker) – His Majesty
Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has appointed 21 Personal Advisors and 34
Assistants to reelected Prime Minister Hun Sen, according to a royal decree
signed by the King in late September and released to the media on October 1.
Among all the newly-appointed advisors,
two hold the rank equivalent to a senior minister, eight to a minister, 10 to a
secretary of state, and one holds the rank of an undersecretary of state.
For the newly-appointed advisors,
six have the rank equivalent to a secretary of state, 18 have the rank of an
undersecretary of state, and 10 have the rank of a director-general.
In the royal decree, the king also
terminated the positions of Premier Hun Sen’s personal advisors and assistants,
who had been appointed before September 24, 2013.
